If Optics gets into a strange state, you can reset all preferences by following the instructions below.
Windows
- Close Optics if it is running.
- From the Windows Start Menu, type regedit.
- When regedit appears in the list above, click on it.
- Go to the Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BorisFX\ and delete the appropriate Optics product folder.
Macintosh
- Close Optics if it is running.
- Make sure you’re in Finder or open a Finder folder.
- Hold the Option key and click Go from the top menu bar.
- Click Library.
- Navigate to the /Preferences folder and delete all .plist files with Optics in the name.
