How can I make hidden folders and file extensions visible?

To make folders and file extensions visible, please carry out the following steps:

  1. Press the key combination "Windows key + E" to open Windows Explorer.

  2. Please click on "View -> "Options -> Change folder and search options".

  3. Click on the "View" tab.

  4. click on "Show hidden files and folders" and on "Apply -> OK".
