https://borisfx.com/downloads/?product=sapphire&os=windows%2bmac%2blinux
- Quit any host applications that may be running.
- Then, double-click on the installer and install it locally.
Additional notes for Sapphire for OFX hosts on Linux, if you are looking to install via CLI:
- Become root and use the rpm or deb command:
rpm -ivh "SapphireOFX.rpm"(For a new Sapphire rpm install.)
rpm -Uvh "SapphireOFX.rpm" (For a Sapphire rpm upgrade, e.g., if you had Sapphire 2024 and are looking to update to 2025.)
dpkg -i --force-architecture "sapphireofx.deb" (For a Sapphire deb install.)
Replace the "SapphireOFX.rpm"/"SapphireOFX.deb" with the Sapphire installer you are installing. For instance, if you wanted to install Sapphire 2025.5 for OFX, the command would look like this:
rpm -ivh SapphireOFX-2025.510-1.0.x86_64.rpm
rpm -Uvh SapphireOFX-2025.510-1.0.x86_64.rpm
dpkg -i --force-architecture <sapphireofx_2025.510-1.0_amd64.deb
