Once the program is installed, launch the program like you are going to use it. You will be prompted to enter your serial number and register online. If this fails, click retry three times then click cancel. You will be brought to a screen which has the serial and computer ID displayed and has a blank field to enter the activation code.
Then open a web browser and do the following:
1. Log into the MAGIX service center
2. Click "create activation code"
3. Type in the serial number for the SCS era software
4. Type in the computer ID provided by the SCS era software when prompted
5. Copy and paste the activation code provided into the field in the SCS era app prompt.
