The message "The compressed recording directory is not recommended for recording" suggests that the folder for the recordings has been compressed.
A compressed folder causes slower work, as the files are compressed (packed) immediately when they are saved in this folder.
Please proceed as follows to change this:
- Press the Y key in the program. Select the "Directories" tab and note the path under "Recording:" Now search for this folder in Windows Explorer.
- Now right-click on the folder and select the "Properties" entry in the context menu that appears. Under the "General" tab, you will find the attributes "Advanced..."
- Under "Compression or encryption", remove the tick next to "Compress content to save storage space".
