Why does sequence numbering start at 0 in Silhouette when using Flame?

Silhouette may display sequence frame numbering differently when used as an OFX plug-in in Autodesk Flame. This occurs because Flame does not follow the OFX parameter that defines the start frame for the sequence.

Sequence numbering behavior between Flame and Silhouette

Silhouette used within Flame may show sequences starting at frame 0 even if the Flame timeline starts at frame 1.

This happens because:

  • Flame ignores the OFX start frame parameter

  • Silhouette defaults to frame 0 when the start frame is not honored

As a result, there is an offset between Flame’s timeline and Silhouette’s frame numbering.
