Activating a Sequoia 2026 trial license takes BorisFX Sequoia 17 into unrestricted trial mode as well. This is expected behavior for all BorisFX Sequoia 17 / Sequoia 2025 installations.
After the trial has ended, Sequoia 17 / Sequoia 2025 continues to use the full license from your WIBU dongle or local WIBU container again.
