Maximize the value of your Boris FX purchase with the Upgrade and Support Plan

Designed to make upgrading and budgeting for Sapphire, Continuum, Mocha Pro, Silhouette and Optics more convenient, the Upgrade and Support Plan is an annual program that ensures you have access to the latest available features, increased licensing flexibility, and the support you need. Each purchase of a perpetual license or an upgrade includes a free 12-month Upgrade and Support contract. The benefits of this plan are detailed below.

Automatic upgrades: Never fall behind on a new release. Active Upgrade and Support customers are automatically entitled to all upgrades released during their 12-month contract which begins from the date of purchase.

Full Phone and Email Support: Upgrade and Support customers have unlimited access to phone and email support during business hours.

Automatic Renewals: Don’t ever worry about your Boris FX Upgrade and Support Plan lapsing with automated billing renewals. Your Upgrade and Support plan will automatically renew at least 24 hours before the expiration of your contract and you will be notified via email of an upcoming automatic renewal 30 days prior. You can always manage and cancel automated billing by going to your Boris FX Account after purchase.

Easier Budgeting: The yearly fixed cost allows for clearer planning and budgeting.

Perpetual Licenses: All perpetual licenses include a complimentary 12-month Upgrade and Support contract and will continue to be functional even if your Upgrade and Support contract expires. Please note: expired Upgrade and Support contracts are subject to reinstatement pricing.

Notes: Continuum Units and Premium Filters are not part of the Boris FX Upgrade and Support Plan.

***Update: May 1, 2022***

Effective June 1, 2022, all perpetual licenses will only be eligible to renew their Upgrade and Support contract with standard renewal pricing at the contract expiration date, which includes a 30-day grace period.

A perpetual license will never cease to function, but any Upgrade and Support contract that expires without renewal will be subject to Upgrade and Support Reinstatement pricing.

Any Upgrade and Support contracts that have not been renewed for more than 36 months from the initial contract expiration date will be considered canceled, and will no longer be eligible for any reinstatement.

If a customer owns a perpetual license with a canceled Upgrade and Support contract, a new license or subscription must be purchased to access the latest version of our products.
